The Bolger Foundation Visits Pony Power!
Two representatives from The Bolger Foundation — foundation President JT Bolger and Trustee Michael Tozzolli — recently paid a visit to grantee Pony Power Therapies in Mahwah, NJ. Pony Power connects people with disabilities or life challenges to the wonders of horses, farming and nature.

Said JT Bolger, “Michael and I met with Pony Power’s founder and Executive Director Dr. Dana Spett along with Development Director Leigh Vaccaro. They were kind enough to show us around the 13-acre Pony Power campus.”
Last spring, The Bolger Foundation funded Pony Power’s pavilion, utility shed and horse shelter.
The structures themselves are completed and just awaiting the installation of lighting (and in the case of the utility shed, shelving). Meanwhile, the nonprofit organization already has been utilizing the pavilion as part of their Fairy Trail as well as storing items in the utility shed.
Explained JT, “They will be using part of the utility shed for their food packing and cold storage. The horse shelter is waiting on lights; then two horses will be living full time in the turnout area.”
It is truly a pleasure to literally see the tangible results of Pony Power Therapies’ grant from The Bolger Foundation!
